The Intrecciato Nappa has been with the house for a very long time and it has been perfected in details throughout the years. This design is now beyond perfect and the only way to reach the next level is to introduce new variations. It’s the same like Louis Vuitton playing with colors with their Monogram Flowers. Now introducing the Intrecciato Graffiato for the Fall 2017 Collection.

The Graffiato adds contemporary colors and textures to the house’s artisanal heritage (Intrecciato). They are embroidered into Bottega Veneta’s signature handbags like the medium tote.

This new design is eye-catching because the Intrecciato used to be just in single colors. With the Graffiato added, the look changes into a multicolor handbag, but the colors are balanced, soft and matching. The Graffiato embroideries look like stripes stitched all around the Intrecciato Nappa.

With or without this new embroidery, the Intrecciato still changes any bag it touches into a chic and ladylike accessory. The new multicolor embellishment only makes it more interesting and ideal to wear as an everyday bag.

Michael Kors buys Jimmy Choo in a $1.2 billion deal

You can now team up that classy Michael Kors handbag with a stunning pair of heels from the label itself! In recent news, the American fashion house is said to have acquired British Fashion label Jimmy Choo for a record breaking figure of $1.2 billion! The cash deal was pitched at 230 pence per share for Jimmy Choo, as was reflected on the London Stock Exchange.

The acquisition of Jimmy Choo comes as quite a surprise and is a certainly a plus for the already plummeting growth of Michael Kors. As per John D. Idol, the chairman and chief executive of Michael Kors Holdings, ““Acquiring Jimmy Choo is the beginning of a strategy for building a luxury group that really is focused on international fashion brands”. The American brand that is known for its fashion-forward designs and competitive prices is said to be targeting acquisitions that not only “lead in style and trend” but also “have some size, scale and heritage.”

Michael Kors has become a household name in the past few years, thanks to its celebrated founder who appeared on 10 seasons as a judge on the fashion-based reality television show “Project Runway”. However, the brand was certainly in need of an upgrade, and buying Jimmy Choo has given it just that! It certainly is going to be interesting to watch what Michael Kors can achieve with this acquisition!

COACH'S FALL 2017 CAMPAIGN IS A NOSTALGIA-LACED LOVE LETTER TO NEW YORK

Coach only began its top-to-bottom, high-gloss revamp two years ago, but in just a few short seasons, the brand has established itself as one of the coolest labels on the New York Fashion Week calendar. The house, now headed up by Givenchy and Louis Vuitton alum Stuart Vevers, has pulled out all the stops, from partnering with Instagram royalty to holding the buzziest fashion partiesin New York City. 

Coach is a staid mall brand no more, and nowhere is that ascension more prevalent than its ad campaigns. Just last week, the label revealed a first look at its Fall 2017 campaign featuring house face Selena Gomez in the blush-toned leather interior of a 1976 Plymouth Fury. The shots were glamorous and yet attainably all-American, which may just be the most effective way to describe Coach's new messaging.

And on Tuesday, Coach revealed the remainder of Coach 1941's Fall 2017 campaign, which a release described as being "an ode to New York, the city Coach has always called home." Photographed by brand favorite Steven Meisel, the ads were shot in a Brooklyn on an authentic vintage subway car — and these days, what's more authentically New York than being stuck in the subway? 

The campaign shows models Imari Karanja, He Cong, Kiki Willems, Faretta, Hiandra Martinez and Oscar Kindelan as "a band of friends en route to their next adventure," embodying "a lightness of spirit and the limitless possibility of the city — with a nostalgic nod to the 1970s." This vintage aesthetic was plucked straight from the brand's Fall 2017 collection, pieces from which juxtaposed "the romance of the great American outdoors with early New York hip-hop."
